On September 30th, Aula Magna Business School celebrated its Annual Alumni Day. Professors, students, and staff were brought together in an event designed just for them. The day was filled with familiar faces reconnecting, networking, bonding, and sharing their stories with one another. It was a time to recognize not only the professional growth but the personal growth of everyone part of Aula Magna. “It is your day,” said CEO Clara Lapiedra. “Without all of you, it would not be possible to be here now, inaugurating the Annual Alumni Day.”
Awards were presented, both to students and teachers. The most recent graduates of Aula Magna’s Executive Development Program (EDP), as well as those of the Data Analytics for Managers Program (D4M), received diplomas to celebrate their weeks of learning, effort, and aptitude. The best teachers of each edition were also awarded, based on votes turned in by the students.
Mugs were handed out (with a unique #MotivationalQuote on each), the second issue of eWomenTimes magazine was debuted (another new venture for Lapiedra), and the afternoon culminated with a farewell catering. Not to mention, the speech of a surprise guest, writer and journalist Asha Miró! Her feminine presence and international expertise captivated all as she shared her philosophy of life. “Smile, smile, and smile,” Miró told emphasized as she narrated the difficulties that sometimes get in your way.
Here’s to the many more successful Annual Alumni events of the future! 🥂
